HERNDON, Virginia – Jan. 17, 2012 – ROAMWORKS USA, Inc, a provider of remote monitoring software and solutions, has appointed Gary Page to the position of vice president of sales and business development.
Mr. Page brings over 30 years of experience to ROAMWORKS. His work has focused on remote device management and control technologies, as well as cellular and satellite machine-to-machine (M2M) applications. In his new position at ROAMWORKS, he will oversee the company’s sales in addition to determining new opportunities for growth in the Americas.
Prior to joining ROAMWORKS, Mr. Page was the vice president of sales at ILC, a developer of remote device management and control software. During his 12 years at ILC, he successfully helped increased company revenue from less than $1 million to over $15 million. He worked closely with the president on the sale of ILC to Numerex. At Numerex, Mr. Page assisted with Numerex’s 2008 acquisition of Orbit One Communications, a company that specialized in satellite-based asset tracking. Under his guidance as vice president of sales, Numerex achieved 50 percent year-over-year revenue growth.
“Gary’s deep understanding of M2M technologies and proven success in developing and growing sales organizations within this field makes him an ideal addition to our team,” said Bryan Eagle, president of ROAMWORKS USA. “As we aggressively attack the U.S. marketplace, additions like Gary will help solidify our position as a true leader in the M2M space.”
Mr. Page holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
