March 27, 2012 – ROAMWORKS U.S.A. NAMES BILL LOCKWOOD AS VICE PRESIDENT OF SALES AND BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
HERNDON, Virginia – March 27, 2012 – ROAMWORKS U.S.A., a global provider of remote monitoring software and solutions, has appointed Bill Lockwood to the position of Vice President of Sales and Business Development.
Mr. Lockwood brings over 25 years of experience to ROAMWORKS, stemming from his early days at McCaw Cellular Communications (Cellular One) through his most recent role as Director of Consumer Products for Actsoft, Inc. In his new position at ROAMWORKS, he will oversee Sales and Business Development throughout North and South America.

Mr. Lockwood brings with him an extensive history of accomplishments including the development of US markets for Electronic Home Arrest Monitoring systems for the U.S. criminal justice system during his tenure at BI Inc. (Boulder, CO). The company grew from a $7M private company to $60M publicly traded company in the 5 years Mr. Lockwood was Vice President of Sales. From there, he served as VP of Sales & Marketing at ProTech Monitoring where he developed the US market for the first GPS tracking systems utilized for the monitoring of sex offenders worldwide, resulting in immediate media attention. Prior to joining ROAMWORKS, he consulted various firms in the wireless space and continues to remain involved in state, local and global organizations representing the government and emergency management, law enforcement, military and transportation industries.
Mr. Lockwood holds a bachelor’s degree from Washington State University in Marketing & Administration Management and he is happily married with two children. Bill played professional baseball for the Pittsburgh Pirates organization prior to entering the corporate world of wireless technology back in the late 1980’s; he currently resides in sunny Tampa, Florida.
